Off day today. Got quite a few things that I planned to do today.
Near noon, went to parents' stall to help. Sigh! The coffeeshop boss decided to rent the shop to someone else for $10,000, and in order for him not to do so, each of the current stall will need to pay an extra rent of $500 monthly. Definitely a NO-WAY for such a dilapidated coffeeshop. Parents were still deciding what to do. Should they just quit, and mum stays at home while dad goes out to bring back the bacon, or as what mum suggested boldly, hahaha both of then just retired. Ok, i know my parents are not too old, both less than 50, so I guess they would be bored to death if they retired, but knowing that they have done so much, I believe it's just right for them to take a break. Yesterday, they was discussing whether to quit for the time being and just travel around the world, before coming back to find another suitable location to set up a new stall. Talking of travelling, argh! parents and bro going to china during the june holidays, and argh! I am not included, yes again, like the previous Taiwan trip tt they went end of last yr!!!! ROARS! Anyway back to the stall issue, mum and dad just told me they managed to hunt for a stall somewhere near the current one but that's $300 more per month. I believe they will settle for this bah....
Today, I also went back to WISMA to exchange for a shirt that I bought last friday. The size wasn't right and so managed to go back there to exchange on this very last day of the 7-days policy.
And yeh! I finally went to driving centre to register for my lessons for school. And this means that my driving lessons will start all over again real soon. And yes, Derek had his practical test today, and yeh! he passed! Congrats!
Managed to contact the company which I subscribed my National Geographic magazines in May 07. Till date, I have yet to receive my 1st issue when the payment has been made like 10 months ago!!! And the staff promised to call me back, and she didn't. Okay... I am going to flood the line again tomorrow until I receive my magazines!!!
Did some window shopping at J8 alone. Didn't managed to find the 2 things on my to-buy-list. Headed back home after tt.
Rainy day, spoilt my plan for a swim today.
Going for my ECA later at 7.
